Dr Anderson Uvie-Emegbo, ITBMC

The World Innovation Summit on Education recognizes Dr Uvie-Emegbo as a leading education stakeholder.

Anderson is an international digital economy and services leadership specialist, teacher, writer, agenda setting conference speaker and consultant.

An alumnus of IESE Business School, Spain, Dr Anderson is an International Faculty, Digital Business at Strathmore Business School, Kenya. He is also an Adjunct Faculty, Digital Business at the Lagos Business School and the School of Media and Communication, Pan Atlantic University, Nigeria.

His case studies on digital business and the 5Cs methodology he advocates continues to earn him critical acclaim. He has trained, coached and mentored hundreds of business executives on digital leadership. He has led successful digital transformation initiatives for leading organizations.

His research interests include the relationship between the digital ecosystem and internationalization, profitability, consumer research, service delivery, social customer care, enterprise social networking, business strategy, stakeholder engagement, reputational management, crisis communication, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Dr Anderson is a certified information technology manager.

He has attended certificate courses at the W.P. Carey School of Business, Phoenix, Arizona, USA. He has participated in study tours to Kellogg School of Management, USA, University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA and DePaul University, Chicago, USA.

Oguche Agudah

He is currently working with the Nigerian Ministry of Industry, Trade & Investments, as an Adviser to Nigeria's Minister for Industry, Trade and Investments, Dr Olusegun Aganga.

He was most recently a Senior Credit Risk analyst in the Financial Institution business of Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria. He was jointly responsible for the credit quality of a portfolio of assets worth USD 7billion. He has had previous experience as a Credit Manager in Standard Chartered South Africa recommending credit applications for banks, micro finance institutions, insurance companies, and various State Owned Enterprises (SOE) from the 13 African countries in which Standard Chartered has a presence in Africa.

He also had a stint with Standard Chartered Bank UK, analyzing supranational organisations and subsidiaries of some African banks operating in UK.

Norah Odwesso

Norah Odwesso is a mother, wife, sister, leader and corporate executive with over 10 years’ experience in both local and international business. She has worked with multinational blue chip businesses in Group Strategy management and Corporate Relations in the fast moving consumer goods industry. Currently working as Public Affairs & Communications Director for Coca-Cola Central East & West Africa, she leads reputation management of the Coca-Cola business and its brands across 30 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. She has also acquired a wealth of experience to meet the challenges of an ever-changing business environment, increasingly subject to scrutiny by local and international stakeholders.

Prior to joining the Coca-Cola Central East & West Africa business, Norah was the Corporate Relations Director for Diageo Africa, a leading global alcohol beverage business.

Earlier in her career, Norah worked as Business Strategy & Planning manager for the Standard Chartered Bank in Kenya. A beneficiary of the coveted British Council Chevening Scholarships Awards, she holds an MA in Finance and Investments from the University of Exeter, UK and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Accounting) (Hons) from the University of Nairobi.

Norah’s personal passion is to work with young people to inspire them to achieve their ultimate God-given potential, through targeted interventions.

She currently sits on the Board of the Gender Violence Recovery Centre, North Eastern Educational Trust Fund, is the Chairman, Junior Achievement, Kenya and a founder of a social entity “Sense of Worth” that seeks to enhance life skills of young people who have dropped out of secondary school, to help them find meaning in their lives and impact their generation. Her mantra in life is “You are a sum total of the choices you make!” She is married to Francis and together they have 3 children.

Executive Offshore Short Study Tours

For participants looking to broaden their cross-cultural understanding of leadership and business management in international markets, we organize a series of weeklong study tours to the United States of America. Participants will have a first hand view of business and services leadership from the unique American perspective. Between September 21st and 25th, we will be hosting participants of the Chicago Institute of Business Executive Leadership Program in Chicago. Registration is presently ongoing for the next run, which will take place in November 2014. In the first week of December 2014, we are taking another set of participants for an on campus Services Leadership training and tour at the acclaimed Centre for Services Leadership, W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University Tempe Campus, Arizona, USA. For registration details, please contact us.
